Welp, as the title says I got a job. Our family up north need help with their camp site. Of course I am speaking of the amazing Headwaters. Auntie needs care takers so my dad told her if he could get the time off (get his boss to lay him off so he could get hired back when we are done) we would go up. Well his Boss allowed it (since we are helping family that really need the help) and he goes up on the 11th of May and I the following week on the long weekend. Not sure how long it will be for, since they are trying to sell the camp ground. Could be for the entire season (which would be til the end of Oct). Going to be real hard work but I know I am going to love it. I've already helped a bit before so it wont be that much different. I will be the one in charge of the head lodge (so bookings, payment, store... ect ect) as well as doing wood runs, taking wood orders, helping dad cut the fire wood, wash the toilets, shower room and the cabins once people leave. Help with boat rentals and anything else that is needed. It will do me some good to get away, although it's going to kill me being away from Jess for so long. Hopefully she can get a weekend off and drive up with my Mom when she comes to visit. But, I always take care of family when they need the help, just how I was raised. I am also hoping with working up there (since in the summer it can get up to 40C+ -- about 104F for you americans lol) that it will help me lose the weight I want to. I will get all trimmed up and come back looking even more smexy lol. It will be interesting to say the least. Will be good to see 'em all again and I know Anya is going to be so thrilled to be back up there for a while, since it's her true home after all.
